Disgusting

Carter and I are reading a chapter book together and tonight, when I got to the end of the chapter, he said to me, "I know what's going to happen. It's disgusting. It's so disgusting." So then the conversation goes like this:

Me: What's going to happen?

Carter: It's too disgusting to say out loud.

Me: Whisper it in my ear. Just whisper it.

Carter: NO! That's talking. I can't say it out loud. I can't tell you about it.

Me: Okay. That's fine. You don't have to tell me.

Carter: (giving in) Smooching. They're going to smooch. It's disgusting.

Spring Break in Arkansas

Carter and I spent a part of his spring break in Arkansas visiting Mama Helen and Daddy Phil. Carter wanted to learn how to fish.
