Trip to North Georgia

My mom has been in town for the last week and a half. It's been great having her here, and we wish she could stay!

We wrapped up her visit with a trip to north Georgia this weekend. We visited Helen, Hiawassee and Dahlonega, and several places in between.

Baptism

The boys were baptized last Sunday. They looked very dapper and took water to the head like champs! It was a very churchy weekend. After a four hour class on baptism on Saturday (our third time through it), we had the baptism Sunday morning, and then Carter sang in choir at a special service Sunday night. (And he really sang!)

New Years Eve

We had a house full of Texans on new years eve! In addition to the Kimbro family, Ben, Rebecca and Miranda joined us for the festivities. It was great to be together on NYE again after so many years! It seems that I only took photos of the kids...

Kimbro Visit

We were so happy that the Kimbro's included Atlanta on their 2011 holiday tour of the southeast. We are, as ever, grateful that the kids play so well together. It was great being together, and John seemed happy to meet Rob and the kids (especially Eleanor).
